I taught languages at a language school in Okinawa. The name of the school was OWLS (Over the World Language School) in Ginowan City, Okinawa. There, I taught English and Spanish to students ranging from conversational to university students as well as career professionals. I taught English to university students preparing for tests like the TOEFL, TOEIC, Eiken, etc. I taught environmental courses as my full time job and language classes on evenings and weekends.
My name is Galo Alcivar and I have an extensive history. The following is a short version:
I communicated in Spanish all my life and was raised mostly in Spanish schools; however, my life changed when I moved to America and learned English as a second language when I was 16 years old. Since then, following my graduation from High School in Miami, Florida, I attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish.
