Hello there!
My name is Arturo Danker and I arrived in Japan on January 10, 2015. I am very excited to know you would like to study Spanish, and I would gladly help you improve your skills. I understand the importance of feeling comfortable when learning a language, since I have studied other languages as well. I like creating an easy atmosphere where students feel welcome to practice and learn.
I graduated with a B.A in Communication Studies from Portland State University in the United States, and studied Mass Communication and Political Science during an exchange program at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
I have taught Spanish to elementary school kids for an after school program, as well as working as a private tutor for two clients in Seoul. I also coached a group of middle school students for a project called Destination Imagination, and I participated in a university capstone where I worked for the Portland Water Bureau creating a project that would allow them to communicate a message to their consumers.
I currently work at Gaba teaching English to numerous clients.
