Hola a todos! I am a very patient teacher happy to share my Spanish with all my students :) I have experience with children and adults. We can learn Spanish in a very easy and friendly way.

Lawyer with additional studies in social psychology and postgraduate degree in State, Public Policy and Development from Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia. With experience in the defense of human rights and in formulation of actions of development, specifically in issues related to the right of education, the rights of people with disabilities, the rights of children and gender equality. Legal English, legal French and Colombian Sign Language.

In Colombia, Andrea joined different government entities such as the Colombian Family Welfare Institute, where she worked for the prevention and protection of infancy, childhood, adolescence and well being of families in Colombia. Andrea has volunteered in different organizations including the Program of Action for Equality and Social Inclusion -where she conducted actions against Health Care providers related to the supply of basic inputs for people with disabilities-, she was part of research projects of legal and political impact, led individual cases of people with disabilities, volunteered in China to improve conditions for children with disabilities, among others. She also published a book named “?Inclusive Education? Right of access and permanence in higher education for Deaf people in Bogota”, and articles on analysis and evaluation of public policies, and intersectionalities of gender and disability. She received a Special Recognition by the School of Law of the University of Los Andes to the National Competition Otto de Greiff 2015, granted to the best thesis in the country. Her current research interest focuses on a proposal of an educational methodology that provide educational institutions with tools and strategies to turn education for peace into a process of permanent learning, as a sustainable solution for peace.

Undergraduate teaching assistant for the Directed Research Seminar, a course that encourages and helps students formulate their own research project and develop the first part of their undergraduate thesis.

*Fundaci?n Ruah. Bogota, Colombia. 2008 ? 2012. Summer Camp Guide of children between 12 and 18 years old. Responsible for working with groups of around 20 children.
